Questions
What people ask first.
Do I need to install anything?
No. SideStudio runs in your browser on this site, on a computer, a tablet or a phone. You can add it to your home screen if you want an icon.
Do I need an AI subscription?
No. Solo runs the AI parts on your own key (you pay the AI company for what you use, usually pennies). Pro and up include the studio's own AI once your seat is signed in. Everything that isn't AI works with no key at all.
Where is my work kept?
In your browser, on your device. Settings has a full backup to a file and a way back from it. Pro and up can sync through the studio's cloud.
Can I look before I pay?
Yes. Open the studio and choose Skip on the sign-in screen. Every room opens; signing in is only for your seat.
What happens if I stop paying?
There are five days of grace, then the cloud parts pause until the next paid month. The studio file keeps working, and your work stays where it is.
Can my team use one seat?
The Team seat holds five people. The owner invites the other four by email from the studio's dashboard.
